Let There Be Light

They call me Roadie Jesus — the guy who brings light to the stage, literally.

I’m a freelance lighting designer and technician based in Las Vegas. I work large-scale concerts, festivals, and touring productions — and the smaller rooms that still have to look like a million bucks at doors.

As a dimmer technician I’m the heartbeat of the lighting network: power distribution, data flow, and a rig that stays perfectly dialed from soundcheck to encore. I also program, draw plots in Vectorworks, run video walls, and operate robospot when that’s the hole on the sheet.

Before the Vegas years I designed and crewed in Branson and the Midwest, then spent a stretch as lighting and video crew chief. I hold a Class A CDL, an FAA Part 107, and an OSHA card. If the truck needs driving, I drive it.

Union and non-union dates. Local or traveling card on request. Day rate and weekly on request. Las Vegas based — US and international, passport current. PM and LD references on request.

Education: Associate of Arts in Electronic Media Productions, Ozarks Technical Community College, Springfield, Missouri.
